Page Setup Timescale end date is not being used in Print Preview
Status: Reviewed
Version(s): 3.x

Problem: Page Setup Timescale end date is not being used in Print Preview
Problem:

Printed Timescale end date is different than End date defined in Page Setup

Problem: Timescale displayed for the layout is different in Print Preview
Fix: P3 will always fill out the page when printing a timescale. If the timescale density defined in the layout in combination with the finish date defined in Page Setup does not fill out the page, the timescale will be extended so that the entire page is used. There are a few options to force P3 to end the timescale on desired date:

1) Set the Fit to Page option to 1 (or a value other than 0) under File, Page Setup. This allows the program to stretch or crunch the timescale to fit the Start and End dates in the required number of pages.

2) P3 always draws the tabular (rows and columns) section 1st without compressing size and then determines how many pages wide to draw the layout. Because P3 will draw the timescale without automatically condensing\contracting the timescale, increase the column widths in the tabular view until the timescale stops drawing at the desired end date.

3) Change the timscale density by either choosing a shorter time interval (ex day instead of week) or drag the timescale slider bar to the right to stretch the timescale to the desired end date.
