Problem: | Print Error General Error when printing from a pdf writer |
Fix: | Verify that the latest P3 Service Pack (P3 3.1 Service Pack 3) is installed. If the error still occurs after installing Service Pack 3, create a shorter PDF port by following the steps below. 1. Create a new folder on a Local Drive that has no spaces or symbols, has 8 characters or less, and is no more than 5 levels deep. 4. Select PDF Port and click on the New Port… button. 9. Click Layout tab (at top). 10. Click Advanced… 11. Change print Quality to 600 DPI 12. Hit Ok 13. Hit APPLY (must hit apply) 14. Continue to hit ok until it closes. You should be able to successfully create a PDF file using your PDF creater next time you launch P3. - File, Print -File, Print Preview, Print icon - Layout – Print Icon
