Problem: | How to sort Attendees by Order Code in the Meeting Minutes form |
Problem: | The Order Code in Expedition sorts the records by Attendee last name, but when printed, the order is by Attendee first name. Expedition view with Order Code as the sort: Infomaker view: |
Fix: | Determine which form to modify. The default form is f_mm_01, and we will use this as the example. f_mm_01 has two embedded reports, em_meeting_minutes1 and em_meeting_minutes2. em_meeting_minutes1 holds all the data regarding attendees, so we will open that embedded report to modify the sort order. After opening em_meeting_minutes1, go to Rows > Sort. The default sort is by attendee name: To sort by the Order Code column in Expedition, scroll down in the ‘Source Data’ section on the left-hand side of the Sort window and find ‘order_number’. Drag and drop it to the ‘Columns’ section and then drag and drop the ‘attendee_name’ column to the ‘Source Data’ section to remove it. ‘order_number’ should now be the only column listed under ‘Columns’. Save the embedded report, then re-run the print preview. It will now sort by Order Code: |
